EasyMalwareBlocker - Compare File Extensions in Registry

Q: What does the System Utility 'Compare File Extensions in Registry' do?

Short A: This EMB utility compares the file extension in the Registry hive 'Root' with the state of the Registry when EMB has been installed for new, deleted and modified entries.

This feature is implemented in version 2.0 only where Registry protection is NOT implemented.
It is possible to turn a file with a harmless looking file extension into a dangerous executable file when Registry entries are added and/or changed. With this utility experts can see when changes have been made and if they are dangerous for the computer.

New, deleted and modified keys are put in separate lists so changes after installing a new program can immediately be seen.
